The Pampered Tooth was built around a simple idea: excellent care starts with understanding the person in the chair. We listen to concerns, explain findings, set realistic expectations, and build treatment plans together.
Our Port Orange office welcomes adults and children beginning at age nine, including patients with special needs. Spanish-language assistance may be available; please share your preference when scheduling.
Larissa W. Hanson, DMD
A local story rooted in science, teaching, and service.
Born in Winter Park and raised in the Daytona Beach area, Dr. Hanson earned a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida before graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2014.
In 2025, she completed the Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Dental Implant Continuum through the University of Florida and Implant Educators Academy. She is pursuing Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists; this site intentionally does not present candidacy as completed Fellowship.
Dr. Hanson’s calm, teaching-focused approach helps patients understand their health and feel involved in the decisions that shape their care.
